"I've been involved working around racing since a very young age, with my father racing and I also raced for a while too," said Primetime Designs owner Dean Jones. "Being from Indiana, I moved to North Carolina back in the '80s to work for a NASCAR operation. I also began my graphics and lettering business on the side. I've lettered local short-track asphalt and dirt cars, all the way up to NASCAR Cup, Nationwide and Truck rides. I guess you could say 'I've done it all' when it comes to lettering race cars.

 

"But here at Primetime Designs, my real passion is the local racer. So in recent years we've concentrated our efforts into giving our customers the best race car graphics on the market at a price the local racer can afford. Being the official souvenir provider at Volunteer Speedway for the past decade, while also handling all signage at the track, I really like everyone (drivers, race teams and fans) involved at 'The Gap' and I want to give back. The 'Get Wrapped! - Primetime Designs Challenge' will pay any Super Late Model, Pro Late Model or Steel-Head Late Model competitor a $1,000 bonus if any driver can win three consecutive 'Friday Night Fights' feature events. And the Hobby Stock drivers are not being left out, either. They will have the opportunity to win a body-wrap. There's the possibility several thousand dollars could be paid in total bonus money to Late Model competitors should different drivers be able to win three consecutive races. I hope the bonus money might add a little extra excitement to the 'Friday Night Fights' racing programs."
