All tickets for Nashville Superspeedway 2010 NASCAR events go on sale Wednesday, January 6

 
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – With just over six weeks until the start of the 2010 season, the excitement is building for NASCAR’s return to Nashville Superspeedway. For the first time in the 10-year history of the track, Nashville will host the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series on the same weekend, April 2-3, 2010. Fans can reserve great seats beginning on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010 at 8 a.m. by calling 866-RACE-TIX or online at NashvilleSuperspeedway.com.
 
The April 2-3, 2010 weekend is stacked with on-track excitement, including NASCAR Camping World Truck practice, qualifying and a battle under the lights on Friday night, followed by NASCAR Nationwide Series qualifying and the race on Saturday afternoon.
 
The NASCAR Nationwide Series will return June 4-5, 2010 under the lights for the “Federated Auto Parts 300.” The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will also make a second stop in Nashville on Aug. 7, 2010 for a one-day show featuring practice, qualifying and the night race. Race tickets start at $35 for NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races and $45 for NASCAR Nationwide Series races.
 
Season tickets including all three race weekends are still available starting at $179 for adults and just $84 for kids 12 and under. Season ticket packages include a premium reserved parking spot for each race day, the opportunity to drive on the track on “Season Ticket Holder Day” (scheduled for March 13, 2010), and a popular ALL ACCESS pass, among other amenities.
 
ALL ACCESS, the one-of-a-kind pass that allows fans up-close access to the  NASCAR driver and crew chief pre-race meeting, pre-race access to Victory Lane, pit road, and the Fan Walk in between the garage and pit road is available for all Saturday NASCAR races at Nashville. ALL ACCESS is included with a season ticket or can be added to any Saturday single race ticket for $30.

LEBANON, Tenn. -– Joe Gibbs Racing driver Kyle Busch said he thought he was like Ozzy Osbourne after winning Saturday night's Federated Auto Parts 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Nashville Superspeedway.
He may have been more like The Who's Pete Townsend when he slammed the special trophy the track gives to race winners, a Sam Bass-designed Gibson Les Paul guitar.

Carl Edwards won the pole with a speed of 164.596 mph, turning a 29.155 second lap in his #60 Roush Fenway Save-A-Lot Ford Fusion. It marked the first pole at Nashville for the former three time winner at the 1 1/3 mile concrete oval and his second of the 2009 season. The 29 year old Edwards was fastest in the 2 hour weather adjusted practice session on Friday afternoon with a speed of 162.688 mph.. It marked the 13th NASCAR Nationwide Series pole for the Missouri native in 148 attempts.

Dash 4 Cash Begins At Nashville

Gladeville, TN ( April 10 )………Nationwide Insurance will provide a $25,000 incentive to the NASCAR Nationwide Series driver to wins the event at four select races beginning at the Nashville 300 this weekend. Used to help promote the stand alone events, in addition to Nashville, the races at Kentucky on June 13th, the August 1st race at Iowa and the October 24th race in Memphis will participate in the bonus program. A $50,000 bonus will be awarded to the driver who accumulates the most Nationwide Series Championship Driver points during these four events. Read more

Gary Baker has a few words for the NASCAR Sprint Cup teams that compete in the Nationwide series,
“Bring ‘em on,” Baker said during a press conference held in conjunction with the Nashville Superspeedway prior to this Saturday’s Nationwide race at the 1.3-mile track near Lebanon. “With so many Cup teams competing in the Nationwide Series, it can get frustrating at times, but it is also a huge challenge for our team.”
