CRA Super Series 150 Rescheduled For July 20^th In Nashville

NASHVILLE, TN (May 2, 2008) – The Music City Motorplex has announced that the CRA Super Series 150 event that was postponed on March 29^th and again on March 30^th because of weather has been rescheduled for Sunday, July 20^th at the historical track located at the Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee.

"It took a while to work out a date between the track’s schedule and the series schedule," remarked Glenn Luckett, Director of the CRA Super Series. "The July 20^th date worked out as the best date for both parties. Postponing an event is never good for anyone involved including the teams, the track and the sanctioning body, unfortunately nobody can control the weather. We greatly appreciate everyone at the Music City Motorplex working to get this big event rescheduled."

The event will be part of the 50^th Anniversary celebration weekend at the Music City Motorplex that will feature the Old School Racing inaugural event July 18, The Camping World East Series Strutmasters.com 150 followed by the CRA Super Series 150 on Sunday afternoon, July 20. The CRA schedule will feature a one-day show with practice, qualifying, a last chance race if necessary, followed by the 150 lap feature event. A complete event schedule will be released at a later date.

"With the one day format teams will be able to use their credited pit passes from the postponed event to get in the pits with no additional pit cost for any additional days," remarked R.J. Scott, Managing Partner of the CRA Super Series. "Teams can bring the tires they purchased for the postponed event and use those to compete in the 150 lap event, and we will credit the team entries from the postponed event towards the rescheduled event unless instructed differently by the teams."

The July 20^th event will be a tune-up to the prestigious Adam Petty Memorial All American 400 on Sunday, November 2^nd. The CRA Super Series 150 will pay $5000 to win, but more importantly, the top three finishers will have a guaranteed start for the CRA Super Series Adam Petty Memorial All American 400.
